What to do when keypad numbers do not work during a ConnectUC call

Objective

Restore keypad tones when a phone menu does not recognize numbers entered from ConnectUC.

Steps

  1. End the affected call.
  2. Select your user icon and sign out of ConnectUC.
  3. Sign back in to refresh the application configuration.
  4. Place the call again.
  5. Open the in-call keypad and enter the required digits.
  6. Test another automated phone menu to determine whether the problem affects one destination or every call.

The tones used to send keypad digits during a call are called DTMF. Signing back in ensures ConnectUC receives the latest calling configuration.

Include the destination number, test-call time, digits attempted, device type, and whether other phone menus recognize the keypad.

Verification

Call an automated phone menu and confirm that it responds to the digits you enter.

Expected result: The destination recognizes ConnectUC keypad entries.
