How to send a group SMS conversation in ConnectUC
Objective
Start a ConnectUC SMS conversation with more than one recipient.
Steps
- Open the SMS tab.
- Select New SMS.
- Select the outbound SMS number when more than one is available.
- Enter the first recipient.
- Add additional numbers by separating them with a comma or pressing Tab after each number.
- Enter the message and send it.
A group SMS conversation supports up to eight recipients plus the sending party, for a maximum of nine total participants.
Every participant can receive messages sent to the group. Do not include confidential information or recipients who have not agreed to participate.
Verification
Send a test message and confirm that replies appear in the same conversation with the correct participants.
Expected result: The group conversation includes the intended recipients and messages are delivered.
