How to change your voicemail greeting and PIN

Objective

Change your voicemail greeting or voicemail PIN from ConnectUC.

Change your voicemail greeting

  1. Open ConnectUC and select your user icon.
  2. Open Preferences.
  3. Select Voicemail.
  4. Find Voicemail Greeting and select the option to manage or add a greeting.
  5. Upload an audio file, record a greeting from your device, or enter a text-to-speech message.
  6. If you use text-to-speech, select the language and voice and use Play to preview it.
  7. Save the greeting.

Change your voicemail PIN

  1. From Preferences → Voicemail, select Change Voicemail PIN.
  2. Enter the new PIN.
  3. Use the show or hide option if you need to verify the digits.
  4. Save the change.

Do not share your voicemail PIN or send it to Support by email.

Verification

  1. Call your extension from another phone and allow the call to reach voicemail.
  2. Confirm that the new greeting plays clearly.
  3. Access the mailbox and confirm that the new PIN is accepted.

Expected result: Callers hear the new greeting and the new PIN opens your voicemail mailbox.
