How to place calls on hold and switch between calls on a Yealink phone

Objective

Place a caller on hold, resume the call, and select the correct call when more than one call is active.

Place and resume a call

  1. During a call, press the Hold button or Hold soft key.
  2. To resume the call, press Resume or the flashing line key.

Switch between calls

  1. Use the arrow keys or line keys to select the call you want.
  2. Press Resume for the selected call.
  3. Confirm that the other call remains on hold before speaking.

Hold keeps the call on your phone. Use call parking when another phone needs to retrieve the caller.

Verification

Place a test call on hold, resume it, and repeat with a second call to confirm that the correct caller is selected.

Expected result: Each caller can be placed on hold and resumed without disconnecting the other call.
