How to forward calls on a Yealink phone

Objective

Forward incoming calls from a Yealink desk phone and turn forwarding off when it is no longer needed.

Forward calls

  1. With the phone idle, press the Menu soft key.
  2. Select Features → Call Forward.
  3. Choose:
    • Always Forward for every incoming call.
    • Busy Forward when the phone is busy.
    • No Answer Forward when a call is not answered.
  4. Enter the destination extension or outside phone number.
  5. Press the Save soft key.

Turn forwarding off

  1. Open Menu → Features → Call Forward.
  2. Select the active forwarding type.
  3. Disable it and press Save.

Always Forward prevents the desk phone from ringing. Remember to disable it when normal call delivery should resume.

Verification

Call the extension from another phone and confirm that the call reaches the intended destination. After disabling forwarding, confirm that the desk phone rings again.

Expected result: Calls follow the selected forwarding rule and return to the desk phone after forwarding is disabled.
