How to park and retrieve a call on a Yealink phone
Objective
Place a caller in a shared parking location and retrieve the call from a Yealink phone.
Park a call
- During an active call, press the programmed Park key or parking soft key.
- Note the parking location shown or announced by the system.
- Tell the person retrieving the call which parking location to use.
Retrieve a parked call
- Go to a phone that has the corresponding parking key.
- Press the illuminated parking key for that location.
- Confirm that the parked caller is connected.
Parking is different from holding. A parked call can be retrieved from another phone that has access to the same parking location.
Do not leave callers parked indefinitely. If a parked call is not retrieved, it may return to the original phone according to your system configuration.
Verification
Place a test call, park it, and retrieve it from another phone. Confirm clear two-way audio.
Expected result: The call moves to the parking location and can be retrieved from another phone.
